Village Market 

Once again Augustine United Church will be participating in the Village Market located across the street at The Gas Station Theatre.  The market runs every Thursday from 4-8 PM beginning July 1st and ending Mid September.   We are seeking volunteers who would be willing to work either 4 hour or 2 hour shifts for this event.  Groups within the church may also want to consider taking on a day to support a particular activity, such as a bake sale, letter writing event or an art show.  Please contact Rick at 257-6148 or Kim at 282-8177 if you would like to volunteer.

Canada Day

Augustine will have a table set up for Canada Day, located on the corner of River and Osborne from 10:00am – 6:00pm.  We are looking for volunteers.  If you are able to help out please see Kim. 

As well, we are also having a bake sale during this event.  If you are able to provide baking please put your name on the sign up sheet which is located in the Guild Hall on the bulletin board.  Thank you.

This coming Sunday, June 27, we will be having a congregational BBQ followed by our Annual Meeting Part II to approve our new leadership slate, consider a minor change to the constitution and have a quick overview of our new website.

Oak Table Community Ministry Annual Spring BBQ

For all those who brought in food and supplies for the BBQ on June 17^th a heart felt thank you goes out to you!  It was a lot of fun and a great success.

After Church Coffee

Volunteers are needed to serve refreshments after Sunday worship throughout the summer.  First timers will receive training to familiarize them with kitchen procedures.  Preparation can be as simple as lemonade and cookies.  Choose a convenient Sunday and sign the clipboard hanging near the kitchen.  Or contact Garth Bradley at

Summer Social Fundraiser

Congregational Life team wishes to thank both the congregants who offered to host and those who paid to attend an event.  The 10 fun

get-togethers scheduled to take place over the summer, raised over $1,200!
