The past year has seen great changes at Augustine. Work is under way to repair parts of the building, and we’re currently looking for a new minister. Augustine continues to do great work in the community with initiatives such as the Oak Table that provides food, friendship and assistance to those who need it. The church membership group is set to begin shortly and will be designed with three groups of participants in mind:
1) Those who are seeking church membership (Confirmation) for the first time, or who are interested in exploring the Christian faith.
2) Those who are already members of another United Church congregation or of other churches and who come to us by letter of transfer.
3) Any of our folk who have an interest in one or more of the topics under discussion. These topics will be listed in the bulletin ahead of time. Read more…
