We would be grateful to receive any contributions of baked goods. If you bring items in a container, please mark your name on the tin, and we will return it to you after the meeting. There is a sign up sheet posted on the bulletin board outside the church office, if you would like to sign up. Please speak to Bev Ridd, Linda-Ann Sturgeon, or Nancy Renwick after the service for more information. If you would like to contribute, but don’t want to bake, you may wish to make a small donation towards the purchase of coffee and juice supplies and a fruit tray. Many thanks for your help. This meeting will have special significance for Augustine, as the motion to approve the call of our new minister will be put forward that evening. So, let’s impress Bob will our great baking skills!

Portage Place mall was overtaken on October 26^th  at lunch time by a multi-aged group of energetic dancers.  They ‘spontaneously’ broke out into dance in support of the 5 United Church community ministries in Winnipeg.  This dance was the launch to a 1HopeWinnipeg project that draws attention to the awesome ministry offered by Oak Table, Northend Stella, Rainbow, St. Matthew’s Maryland and West Broadway community ministries.  To see some great dance moves, to learn more about this project, and to find out how you can get involved go to http://1hopewinnipeg.com/
