Habitat for Humanity
Is a registered charity that builds safe and affordable housing for purchase by low income working families. They build homes in Winnipeg every summer. The Social Justice Team volunteered to provide snacks for 225 Habitat for Humanity building volunteers on Monday July 26. Recommended snacks are baked goods wrapped individually or fruit. Village Market:
Thanks to all who already volunteered for the village market, a good number of volunteer slots have been filled. However, we still need a few more volunteers that are willing to volunteer in the market on August 5th, 12th, 19th, September 2nd and 9th. If you are interested in volunteering please let any member of the communications team know call Rick at 257-6148.
