Plaster Repair
We are searching for volunteers who know or would learn plaster repair to assist in maintaining our sanctuary. Please speak with Stuart. Thanks.
Village Market:
Thanks to all who already volunteered for the village market, a good number of volunteer slots have been filled. However, we still need a few more volunteers that are willing to volunteer in the market on August 5th and September 2nd. If you are interested in volunteering please let any member of the communications team know or call Kim at 282-8177 or Rick at 257-6148.
Quarterly Statements
Your 2nd quarter statement will be available for pick up at the back of the church TODAY & July 18th. Thank you.
Habitat for Humanity
Is a registered charity that builds safe and affordable housing for purchase by low income working families. They build homes in Winnipeg every summer. The Social Justice Team volunteered to provide snacks for 225 Habitat for Humanity building volunteers on Monday July 26. Recommended snacks are baked goods wrapped individually or fruit. Congregational Givings as of May 31, 2010
Our annual budget for 2010 for congregational givings is $109,800. To reach this total with givings coming in evenly over the year we would need to have received $45,750 by the end of May. In fact the actual givings at the end of May totalled $47,277. Thank you for your generosity. If this trend continues it will be very helpful to Augustine’s finances.
Augustine would like to thank the Winnipeg Foundation, the Community Places Program of Manitoba and the Sir Thomas Cropo Foundation Inc. for their support toward the replacement of the stained glass windows at the front of our building.
