Loraine on Study Leave
Loraine will be on study leave May 6-16, attending a Compassionate Listening training in Seattle. For emergency pastoral care, please contact Don Ross at 775-7631.
Oak Table Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the Oak Table Community Ministry will be held on Tuesday May 18th in the Guild Hall. There will be a reception to meet Board members at 3:30 pm and the meeting will begin at 4:15 pm. All are welcome to attend.
Mini Super Sale
It will be held on Saturday May 15th from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Items will include home baking, jewellery, books and other miscellaneous items. Please note we will not accept clothing, heavy furniture and electronics. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the insert and hand it into the office by Wednesday May 12th. Thank you.

Oak Table Ministry requires volunteers for this summer in July and August. If you are able to help out, please contact Alice.
Lent 2010 Offerings
$1,219.26 was collected in Lenten offerings from identifiable givers. A relatively small additional amount was received from anonymous givers. Half of the total will be donated to Haiti relief while the other half will go to help make Augustine “greener”.
Wider Church & Community
The Sisters in Spirit 6th Annual Mother’s Day March
Honouring missing and murdered aboriginal sisters, will take place TODAY at 1:00 p.m. People will gather at the St. Regis Hotel at 285 Smith Street and walk together to Odena Circle at the Forks. Everyone is welcome.



Augustine would like to thank the Winnipeg Foundation, the Community Places Program of Manitoba and the Sir Thomas Cropo Foundation Inc. for their support toward the replacement of the stained glass windows at the front of our building.
