Palm Sunday Pot-Luck Lunch – March 28/10
The congregational life team needs food offerings for a pot luck lunch after worship on March 28th. Please drop off your ready to eat (or heat) item in the kitchen before the service. We need casseroles, meat balls, salads, side dishes, fruit, cheese, bite sized raw veggies, and desserts. Six Wednesdays with the Psalms
Not all the Psalms of course! But enough to get us into the most human and possibly the most spiritually fruitful, part of the Bible. This study begins on Wednesday, April 14th, through to May 19th. Please let Don Ross know of your interest so that an order can be placed for an inexpensive guide – Spirituality of the Psalms by Walter Breuggeman.
Taizé Prayer
We will hold a prayer service featuring chanting in the style of Taize. Please join us for this quiet meditative time together to mark the season of lent. Sunday at 7:00 pm.
Tax Receipts
All tax receipts were mailed a few weeks ago. If you have not yet received your tax receipt for 2009 donations to Augustine, please contact the church office.

Amnesty International: A Taste for Justice Dinner
The Amnesty International group from the University of Manitoba presents A Taste for Justice, a fundraiser in support of Amnesty International. The event will promote the human rights of the Lubicon Cree of northern Alberta. The event will be hosted in the Guild Hall on Friday March 26, 2010 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. The evening will feature a documentary screening, traditional food, and live aboriginal entertainment. Tickets are $8 and are available in the church office.
